Prof. Dr. R.T. Sabapathy Mohan, the Vice-Chancellor of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University had a brilliant academic career right from School Education to University Education. He has earned his Doctorate degree in Chemistry from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. He has started his career as Lecturer in 1975 and served in Annamalai University as Lecturer, Reader and Professor of Chemistry from 1975 to 2008. He has to his credit 33 years of teaching experience and 25 years of research experience at the University level. As a resourceful academician and administrator, he has a commendable and eventful research profile. He has visited several countries viz., U.K., Switzerland, Germany, Singapore,Thailand and Malaysia for presenting research papers and co-curricular activities. He has authored two books namely Non-Linear Hammett Plot (1988) and Chemistry of Epicuticular Waxes of some Mangrove Plant of Pitchavaram (1998).
